I love libraries. One of the most beautiful ones I’ve visited, though unfortunately only briefly, is the Peabody Library in Baltimore. The Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building (there are others on Capitol Hill and elsewhere) is another. I hope to visit both again soon.
Absent special occasions, typical library visits find me at a branch of Prince George County Memorial Library System (PGCMLS). A close branch to our house—relatively new and beautiful—is in New Carrollton. My boys like the play area, and the library has a good selection and reading section for children’s books. We most often attend the library when there’s story time. I will carry many fond memories of our visits there, and I hope the pandemic shutdown will end before too long so we can visit again.
